Public Adjustor
What is a Public Adjustor?
"Public Adjuster" is a licensed individual or firm that agrees to work on behalf of a policyholder for a percentage fee to help adjust the claim with an insurance claims adjuster working on behalf of the insurance company (on the other side). In property/homeowners' matters a public adjuster will usually receive 6% of the loss payable to the insured.
