It’s that time of year again!

Time to get comfortable, be with [immediate household] family and look back on what you have to be thankful for. While this year has been particularly tough for many, we at Founder Shield are lucky enough to work with some of the most exciting and ground-breaking companies in the world.  Many of those companies are doing a lot of good in the world, from the pandemic to diversity and inclusion and everything in between.

So, like we do each year, we want to shine a light on just a few of these outstanding teams and say thank you for making the world a better place!

Fund the First

Each day, first responders put their lives on the line not only to protect the public but to protect our way of life. Unfortunately, while first responders are the first to a crisis, they’re also often the first to be left behind. Fund the First founders are first responders themselves and have experienced this firsthand. They provide other first responders with a trusted place to get the support they need when they need it.

Every campaign is verified to ensure your money goes to the right person. Using their secure online platform, you can create, manage, and promote verified campaigns to help verified first responders raise money in times of need. Unlike other crowdfunding platforms, Fund the First pays campaign beneficiaries directly. Their mission is simple: Eliminate fraud and ensure that support reaches first responders in need.

mathison

Mathison is the first diversity talent marketplace, helping employers achieve their diversity goals through a unique model that centralizes a vast network of partners, leverages AI, and gives back with every hire. They believe in a world where our workforce is equally representative and what makes us each diverse is not a weakness but a strength.

Their mission is to bridge the gap between the most underrepresented job seekers and employers committed to diversity and inclusion. They are dedicated to advancing intersectional diversity and reinvesting in the community in all that they do.

Family Proud

Family Proud is a care management tool that connects patients and families to a community and resources critical to their care, in a time of need. Family Proud was built by patients, survivors, and caregivers, for patients, survivors, and caregivers.

The Family Proud care management platform is an easy to use, secure platform that allows families to communicate to their support network, receive support through their care registry, and communicate with others in similar situations through our peer network. The platform provides a foundation for families to receive support, love, and enhance care for their loved one.

For tech startups looking for grant opportunities to support their innovative initiatives, consider exploring grants specifically tailored to the technology and entrepreneurship sector. Grants for tech startups can provide vital funding and resources for early-stage venture capital startups, enabling them to grow and make a positive impact on society through their groundbreaking solutions.

We hope you have a great holiday weekend!
